Wall Street bets is one of the most popular financial subreddits on reddit.com. It's members are always looking to find ways to make money gambling on the stock market. There is some good DD, or due diligence and financial advice on the subreddit, but there is also a YOLO (you only live once) attitude that permeates it too. There's boasting, trash talking, misery, fortune, and now there's fame. There's fame because over the last few weeks the community has gained enormous attention from the mainstream media and general public because of the meteoric rise of stocks like Gamestop (GME) or AMC (AMC entertainment holdings). The Wall street bets community promoted these stocks and not only did it's fans jump on the bandwagon, but a lot of new traders did too, thrusting GME and AMC into all time highs and huge gains over the course of just a week. One of the main cliche phrases on the site is "STONKS ONLY GO UP", which inspired me to make this shirt with the classic cartoon rockets and the Wall Street Bets logo seemingly hoisting up the funny mantra.
