Gritty is now a Philadelphia icon. Where the Wild things are is a 1963 Children's book by Maurice Sendak that may have inspired the Gritty design, the monsters in the book look very similar to Gritty. Combining both and the Philadelphia skyline makes for an awesome children's shirt, my favorite is in white or black, but I've offered some other colors I thought looked pretty good!
